The system is eufi and gpt based. I installed the ubuntu to the second storage device, created swap, efi and extroot partitions for ubuntu while installing all on the second storage device. Is there any possibility. Since I had previously installed Linux on my laptop, the drive had an ESP, which I chose to keep. Though you will not see any UEFI options, if you are on a UEFI supported system the tool will create UEFI bootable USB drive.
Both were released late last month. Rufus is lightweight and easy to use. You need repair the boot. LTS 64-bit or higher. It’s not actually a repair!
Entire process will be installed on a single HDD. To boot into UEFI from the Settings panel, we are going to use the Advanced Start-up options. Boot into UEFI from Settings App. Search for “Settings” in the Start menu and open it. The UM installation was successful.
