Here are some approaches: Install OSX Sierra to use the e-gpu script. Downgrade to sierra by deleting all your partitions. OpenMP issue of clang of Apple, I built this unoffcial tensorflow -gpu for MAC OSX so that Hackintosh users or Mac users with eGPU can run tensorflow -gpu with CUDA.

Note: This works for Ubuntu users as well. No more long scripts to get the DL running on GPU. To test your tensorflow installation follow these steps: Open Terminal and activate environment using ‘activate tf_ gpu ’. For this tutorial, you must have installed Python in your mac machine.


If not then go to python. Setting up a GPU AWS instance;. Create a conda environment for deep learning.


We started by uninstalling the Nvidia GPU system and progressed to learning how to install tensorflow gpu. If your Mac does not have ThunderBolt then no it will not. Which are relatively recent.
