Mysql trim

The TRIM () function returns a string that has unwanted characters removed. Note that to remove the leading spaces from a string, you use the LTRIM() function. And to remove trailing spaces from a string, you use the RTRIM() function.

The newly introduced function can be used to remove the unwanted leading and trailing spaces from a string in one go. The most common pattern being removed is the white space. If string-expression is a character string, trim -constant must be an SBCS or DBCS single-character (bytes) constant. If the result is empty, returns either an empty string, or, from MariaDB 10.
